Christmas 2024

Santa stands watch

Santa and the puppydog by the campfire was a new decoration this year, but, sadly, it did not survive the season and will not be able to return next year.

The scene with Pooh and friends looking out of the kitchen window remains one of my very favorite things.

The Photo Op is a perennial favorite, but this year it seemed like just as many people were taking their pictures framed within the arch

After being absent for several years, the reindeer were thrilled to get out of their box and back on display.  They greeted the schoolchildren that walked by every day and they waved at all the cars!

Santa and Mrs. Claus were checking the list over very carefully. His Head elf collected the “shelf elf reports” and then reported back to him on a regular basis to keep the list up to date!

Merry Christmas to All, and to all a good night!

Thank you for being part of our 2024 – we are excited about our plans for 2025!

Thanksgiving 2024

Our silly friend Rabbit had to change his sign to say Happy Thanksgiving.

Our favorite Pooh Bear decided to see what it would be like to have a big turkey fan of feathers. I think he likes it!

New turkey is busy making some new friends and seeing where he will fit it.

The very first original Scarecrow girl!

Tigger and Piglet are getting into the Thanksgiving spirit!

I have a soft spot for Raggedy Ann and Andy

Snoopy is channeling his inner Pilgrim while he waits for the Thanksgiving dinner to be ready!

Happy Halloween 2024

The lights are on at the House At Pooh Corner!

The scarecrows are ready for a new season of happiness and delight!

Scarecrows

Mister Pumpkin Head was a bit naughty, so you will find him in a corner…

The ghost riding his pumpkin sidekick

Vampire Tigger always makes my heart smile!

Rabbit is a sneaky little guy!

New visitors snuck away from Hogwarts to see what kind of sweets we have for them this year….we are not as cool as Honeydukes, but we try our best!

Minot City Council 2024

City Council Race 2024

I am endorsing Leif Snyder and Rob Fuller for the Minot City Council.

It was pointed out to me that these two gentlemen are quite far apart on the political spectrum. Legit. They will not be carpooling to any of the same “political party events” in the near or distant future.

My reply, however, is that what matters is what these two gentlemen have in common!

I have dealt with both of these young men at several different times and places, and they have both proven themselves to be both honorable and trustworthy. We need to elect men of honor to the Minot City Council, and I find Leif Snyder and Rob Fuller to fit that bill!

America’s Mighty Warriors

As part of our First In Family, you know that support is everything!

Being surrounded by a community of people all working to be better every day and lifting each other up can make all the difference when it comes to achieving your goals.

First In Nutrition is working to support an incredible organization, America’s Mighty Warriors, and we could use YOUR help to have the biggest impact possible.

We have partnered with AMW for the month of March to both grow the support for their foundation as well as growing our Family with some amazing new members.

Here are the details:

For the month of March, anyone who is NOT currently a member of the First In Family who donates $100 or more to America’s Mighty Warriors will receive 4 weeks of nutrition coaching at no additional cost.

Don’t worry, being that you are already part of our FIN Fam, you have your own opportunity to support AMW and receive weeks added to your current program. If you’re not sure how it works, hit up the FML list in the Facebook group or hop in the Fam and ask!

If you have friends or family that you feel would be great additions to the First In Family and have been on the fence about joining, NOW is the perfect time.

They have the opportunity to support America’s Mighty Warriors by donating to a great cause, and to support themselves by starting their own journey with FIN.

This is limited to the first 46 people (in honor of Marc Lee’s 46th birthday this month) to both:

  1. Donate $100 or more in the month of March to AMW.
  2. Register with First In using the link below

Below is the link to our official AMW/FIN page where they can read more about who America’s Mighty Warriors are, their cause, and find the instructions for donating as well as joining our Family.

https://www.firstinnutrition.com/amwfin/

Once they click the link and donate, they will receive all the information needed to get registered with the FIN Family and start their journey:

Feel free to share this link, any social proof our team shares, and the official email (if you’re on the First In Field Notes email list of course) with your people.

Helping good people do good things is what First In is all about, and now is the time.

YOU have the opportunity to have a major impact where it is needed the most.

For both America’s Mighty Warriors and your friends and family to support themselves.

Merry Christmas 2023

Added a few new things this year to the line up. The snowball fight does not translate very well to a still photograph, so it really needs to be viewed in person.

Rest assured, however…Piglet is holding his own very well in the snowball battle!

The critters all tried to get into Santa’s Bag – I suspect Pooh was looking for a spot of hunny, and the others followed him in. Now Owl is flying them back home to the 100-Aker Wood. Owl might have picked up a few pointers from his friend Hedwig, as I spot a couple of visitors from the castle helping to hang a few ornaments!

Santa and his reindeer were spotted flying over the yard

He must have got your letter – the elf mail carrier was busy delivering all of the mail to Santa!

Back in Whoville, Cindy Lou Who is keeping a close eye on the Grinch and his dog Max! Those sneaky characters need to be carefully watched, but our favorite Cindy Lou is always up to that job!

The window into Pooh’s house was new for last year, and it still makes me smile.

Mister Fuzzy Bear keeps watch on everything going on — he has a great view of the photo op. That photo op has been pretty busy this year, because the weather has been pretty nice. We have a sign with the hashtag #NDPOOH for people to share their photos on social media!

Happy Thanksgiving 2023

Mister Turkey really needs a set of those circa 1970 wooden forks and spoons.  They were generally between three and four feet tall, and hung on the wall of many dining rooms in my friend’s houses. I am not sure if the set ever included a knife or not, but I would be thrilled to include them in the display, with or without a butter knife — or even a carving knife! A huge plastic silverware set would also be quite welcome as well, but I think they were always made of bamboo.

Scarecrow kids are settled into the swing for the Thanksgiving season – they traded in their trick-or-treat buckets.

Blustery winds set the pole scarecrows to dancing! Dancing is always fun, but when they end up flying, it gets scary!

Rabbit found his paint can, and changed the sign to say Happy Thanksgiving!

Pooh and Eeyore wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving and look forward to a holiday season filled with hope and love and laughter — good food and good friends and a little spot of honey!

Tinkertown

121 Sandia Crest Rd, Sandia Park, NM 87047

Move over, Zoltar! The Amazing Esmerelda read my fortune. Luckily, I did not wake up as a 13-year-old the next day, so we can call it a win.

As a dollhouse lover, this is an amazing place.

Miniature circus under the big top!

Buttons and switches and buzzers to press to make the displays move and light up and sing – and lots of places to insert your quarters to power an outstanding imagination.

The power for most of the moving things is provided by washing machine motors.

Tinkertown has collected original transcontinental wagons and farm implements, and built their own little town buildings to house them

Hummingbirds gather at Tinkertown in large numbers

Visit Tinkertown! Take a roll of quarters with you – it will make you smile!
